We recently completed this full condo renovation in the heart of North Vancouver. You’ll be shocked when you see the before photos, it’s totally unrecognizable. It went from dark and dated to bright and inviting. Our team was able to work during COVID-19 because the owner was able to move out of the condo during the process. It was an ideal situation sending in each trade to do their work independently without interruption, doing safe protected work during this pandemic. We are grateful we can keep serving our clients during this time.

For this condo renovation we removed all the popcorn ceilings, dated wallpaper, wood panelled doors and carpets. Replaced with new doors and hardware, a fresh coat of paint, new solid hardwood floors, stunning LED light fixtures and much more.

All of the “after” photos were taken by Jenn Best Photography.

Below is a before photo, showing the dated ceiling light and cabinets. The fireplace was clad in mirror and so were many other walls in this apartment. While mirrors bring in a lot of light into a smaller space, so does a fresh coat of white paint and good lighting.

The chandelier was replaced with a glass and brass LED fixture from Norburn Lighting in Vancouver. It was hung higher in the loft area to draw the eye upwards and open up the room. The glass allows your eye to travel through it making the room feel larger.

In the before photo you can see that we removed the full width mirror and the “pork-chop” countertop over the toilet. This makes the small bathroom feel larger and prevents cluttered countertops. Now the countertop items get tucked away in the new mirrored medicine cabinet.

The downstairs bathroom was updated with a walk-in shower all in various shades of white to keep the space bright and open. See the before below.

The stairs got fresh new carpet in a blue-grey pattern and a new wood railing to match the hardwood floors.

The upstairs bathroom kept with the bright white open theme. The grey quartz countertops pick up the grey veins in the beautiful porcelain slab tiled floors and walls.
